Five Dallas-based companies get sales tax permits at two Comanche County sites, two under a data-hosting code
The Comptroller issued five new sales tax permits on Oct. 30 for two rural Comanche County addresses, plus a Chick-fil-A permit at Stargate in Milam County.
The Texas Comptroller issued five new sales tax permits on Oct. 30 to companies with Dallas mailing addresses at two Comanche County sites, according to the state's list of active sales tax permit holders.
4574 FM 2318, Comanche: Innomatrix Downing AIDC I LLC, Downing Cloud LLC and Downing Operations LLC.
11420 Highway 36, Comanche: Innomatrix Comanche AIDC LLC and Comanche Cloud LLC.
The two "Cloud" companies are filed under NAICS code 518210, the federal industry code for computing infrastructure, data processing and web hosting. The other three are filed under 531120, lessors of nonresidential buildings. All five list Dallas as the taxpayer's city.
The permits don't say what is being built or operated at either address, and a sales tax permit isn't proof that a business has opened. 254 Biz has not confirmed the companies' plans. No state construction (TABS) filing in the current 254 Biz data matches either address.
Also on the data center beat: a sales tax permit issued Oct. 24 lists an outlet named "Chick-fil-A at Stargate Milam County ADP" at 4299-2301 County Road 134 in Milam County, outside city limits, with first sales on Oct. 1. The permit is held by an individual franchise operator, whose name 254 Biz is leaving out.
