TABC issued 41 new permits and licenses in the 254 area from Sept. 30 to Oct. 29, and 29 more applications were pending.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission issued 41 new permits and licenses in the 254 area (outside Williamson and Travis counties) between Sept. 30 and Oct. 29. That includes 17 temporary nonprofit event permits. Another 29 license applications from 23 applicants were pending as of Oct. 30.

Newly licensed: Bell County

  • The Beltonian Theatre (Central Roots Group LLC), 219 E. Central Ave., Belton: wine and beer retailer's permit with a food and beverage certificate, issued Oct. 23.
  • Thai Cafe (T&JO Collective LLC), 7017 Crossroads Way, Suite 1110, Temple: mixed beverage permit, Oct. 12.
  • The Cave (The Cave Entertainment Group LLC), 311 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, Suite 208, Killeen: mixed beverage permit, Oct. 9.
  • El Rancherito Family Kitchen, 715 S. 1st St., Temple: wine and beer retailer's permit, Oct. 29.
  • Stores: Heights Food Mart in Harker Heights and Guy's Quick Stop in Holland (wine and beer), plus Max Mart at 1515 N. 38th St. in Killeen and Casey's #4683 at 5537 FM 439 in Belton (wine-only package store).
